Now that The Bold and the Beautiful's Steffy has killed Sheila Carter and Finn is inexplicably devastated, when he didn't seem to care the last time she allegedly died in 2022, the Sinn marriage might be in peril as Soap Central wondered last week. Finn walked out on Steffy twice now because he couldn't get over what happened in their living room, leaving Steffy in a state of shock when she needed him most.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood discussed the turn of events on the March 4 episode of The Talk. While she was surprised when she opened her script and learned what her character was about to do, she felt it was time.
"This needed to happen," Wood said. "They've been going toe to toe for so long that I think it's cool that Steffy went up against one of the best villains in daytime."
This supposed murder might have been a long time coming, but it looks like it could spell certain doom for the couple known as Sinn. Hope was already there to comfort Finn, and while Tanner Novlan thinks they will remain just friends, there is another character that would be fine with Steffy and Finn breaking up for good.
The Talk host Sheryl Underwood seemed ready for that to happen and predicted what Steffy's ex-husband might do next.
"Liam is outside with some flowers, a tux, and some champagne waiting on you," Underwood suggested.
Wood didn't seem to mind when she heard that scenario and smiled while saying, "I'm not mad at that."
Still, she admitted that Steffy really needs her husband more than she needs Liam at the moment.
"Steffy needs Finn to man up. She needs her man there. She needs him to stand up for what is going on. It's absolutely crazy. Sheila has terrorized her family for so long, and Steffy doesn't want to have to murder Finn, too."
That comment prompted Underwood to push for more Steam, wondering if Liam would come in and save the day if that happened.
For now, Liam is happy to be Steffy's shoulder to cry on as she laments the state of her marriage. She doesn't know if it can survive what happened to Sheila. Since Liam has been waiting for a big enough rift in the Sinn relationship since last summer, he might finally have his chance now.
