Should fans be ready to welcome Nicolas Bechtel (Spencer Cassadine) back to General Hospital? The young actor posted photos on social media that seemingly indicate he has returned to Port Charles, but that might not actually be the real story.
Bechtel, who has been busy starring on Disney's Stuck in the Middle and the FX series American Crime Story, posted some very teasing photos of himself visiting the GH set and his ABC cohorts, Ryan Paevey (Nathan West) and executive producer Frank Valentini. He also recorded a video outside Leslie Charleson's (Monica Quartermaine) dressing room, reminding fans what a legend the actress is (for those who don't already know!).

The posts had some fans quick to think that it means the youngster will soon be returning to Port Charles, but unfortunately, Soaps In Depth is reporting Bechtel was only on set for a large cast photo.
So the bad news is that Spencer might not be seen on-screen in the near future. But the good news is that Bechtel is obviously still considered a GH cast member and therefore will most likely return at some point in time -- most likely when he's not Stuck in the Middle of filming non-daytime projects...
