Attention, longtime General Hospital fans: Tristan Rogers teases he'll soon be returning as Robert Scorpio.
The fan favorite actor, who currently airs as The Young and the Restless' Colin Atkinson, took to Twitter with the tease, "Alert: Robert Scorpio sighted in Port Charles."

And he also revealed to Soaps In Depth that his short story arc will see him in "three distinct stories," which he says makes perfect sense because "that's the way the character always was."
As for playing two different characters on two different shows on two different networks, Rogers tweeted that it's a challenge to keep both fresh and different, but he's thrilled it's even possible. "Opportunities like this are rare," he writes. "Thx to CBS and ABC."

According to the actor, he'll air on GH in early September. No other details about his return have been released, but we'll keep you updated as soon as we hear more.
