It looks like General Hospital star Matt Cohen (Griffin Munro) will soon be pulling double duty. The Port Charles heartthrob has been cast on the CBS primetime series Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.
TV Line reports that Cohen will play the recurring role of Ryan, the son of series regular Jack Garrett (Gary Sinise) who is following in his father's footsteps by becoming a top agent for the FBI.
Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders executive producer Adam Glass, who worked with Cohen when the actor was on Supernatural, announced the news of Cohen's new role on Twitter. When some GH fans expressed concern that the primetime gig might take Cohen out of Port Charles, Glass clarified that the actor isn't leaving GH for his Beyond Borders gig. "A special thanks to @GeneralHospital for being so kind in working with us to make @mattcohen4real part of #CMBB this year. #ClassAct #SPN"
