Keen-eyed General Hospital fans may have noticed that Brytni Sarpy (Valerie Spencer) is no longer listed as part of the contract cast on the ABS soap's end credits. Could this mean the actress has been bumped down to recurring status?
As her fans pelted her with worried tweets, Sarpy took to Twitter to explain what was going on.
"Thank you for the kind and loving words," she wrote. "I was graciously alloted the opportunity to pursue other acting endeavors, but will still be popping into Port Chuck every now and again... I hope you'll continue to follow me on my journey. I promise it will be an exciting one."

Sarpy originated the role of Valerie in March of 2015 during the critically acclaimed Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) exit storyline. The powers that be made a place for her on the canvas as a police officer, but now her screen time will likely start to dwindle.
A rep for GH was unavailable for comment when contacted by Soap Central.
