In what The Young and the Restless' Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman) declares as "the second most special day" of her life, the actress and her husband, Days of our Lives' alum Justin Gaston (ex-Ben Weston), were declared the legal parents of their adopted daughter, Olivia.
"Surrounded by our family, the judge made Olivia officially a Gaston (even though she already was in our heart)," Ordway shared on Twitter along with a photo of the special moment. "We cannot thank God enough for blessing our family with the most beautiful, smart, fun, little ray of sunshine. Olivia lights up every room she crawls in, haha, and has brought us so much joy. We love you, Olivia. More than you will ever know! Happy Adoption Day!!!
Ordway and Gaston, who married in 2012, first announced the arrival of their baby girl back in May of last year, writing, "every good and perfect gift is from above." That day, says the actress, was the first most special day of her life.
